« Danielson Rakotoarivony welcomes you to its bistronomic restaurant. In the heart of old Nîmes, on a charming square with a fountain in the shade of magnolias, this epicurean invites you to experience convivial moments around sunny cuisine. Inspired by his childhood in the Mediterranean and his Malagasy origins, he highlights French gastronomy by bringing what he calls “his extra soul”. Thus, it incorporates original products from Madagascar such as voanjobory or ravitoto, and familiar scents such as the smokiness of summer barbecues in the south of France which reminds it of the burnt bricks of the Red Island. This talented gourmet gives pride of place to organic products, including local ones, and has developed a nice wine list (including by the glass) to please yourself from starter to dessert. Les Magnolias is the first setting for this man with an atypical profile, both a nutritionist doctor and holder of diplomas in pastry, baking and cooking, who aims to open a spa clinic including a haute gastronomy offering. »
